PROJECT PRICING

..OUR PRICING

For each scanning project pricing is based on the number of individual scans needed to cover the scope of work. To provide an accurate quote, we request a marked up drawing or diagram that highlights the extent of the scope. For external topographic surveys, an OS or similar plan is preferred. This helps us determine whether the project can be scanned terrestrially or using aerial technology. For internal scans, we need to know the number of floors/levels (including roofs) involved. Historic floor plans and supporting photos are helpful in refining your quote.Additionally, it's important to consider whether the point cloud should be delivered in RGB (True Colors) or Black and White Intensity, as this affects how the data is captured in the field and can't always be changed later. We offer our own file sharing service where you can easily upload all the files related to your project. If you need to send us a large amount of data, please let us know via this contact form, and we'll provide you with a login and password to your own account on our file drive. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

For 2D/3D products, we require information about the accuracy and level of detail (LOD) needed for each product. Being specific here allows us to provide a tailored quote that meets your exact requirements. It's important to note that not all areas of a site may require the same level of detail, and we can adjust the specifications to reduce both cost and timeframes.
Below you can find detailing guide with description of each level.

3D MODELLINGLEVELS OF DETAILING GUIDE

3D modeling and 2D drafting are two essential processes in the field of engineering and design. 3D modeling involves creating a virtual representation of a physical object using specialized software and is widely used in architecture, civil engineering, reverse engineering etc. 2D drafting, on the other hand, involves creating technical drawings of the object, which include measurements, annotations, and other details. These drawings provide the necessary information for manufacturing and construction.
Whether you are designing a building, a machine, or a product, 3D modeling and 2D drafting are critical steps in the design process. With the help of these tools and resources, designers and engineers can create accurate, functional, and visually appealing designs that meet the needs of their clients and customers. We create 2D drawing of any complexity according to your requirements and needs, which are predetermined.
3D models are made according to chosen level of detailing (LOD), which you can detect below by reading the guide (you can also download it in PDF format). We perform a Model Quality Check at every step of the model creation process and stay in touch during the whole process of model/drafting creation.

Our company offers three levels of detail (LOD) in 3D modeling. refers to the level of complexity and precision of a 3D object or scene. The LOD levels range from 1 to 3, with each level representing a different level of detail and complexity

LEVEL 1

Objects depicted on Level 1:Approximate general shapes of major static objects and their locations:● Walls● Window openings● Doors● Pipes● Interfloor overlaps● Bearing construction elements (columns, beams, etc.)● Equipment (conveyors, engines, electric boxes, etc.)● Lamps
General landscape without precise heights (for exterior):● Roads and sidewalks● Green areas
Objects not depicted on Level 1:● Small equipment (pipes with a small diameter (less than 50mm), valves, pipe connections, flanges, indicators, cable trays)● Steps on ladders, barriers● Different types of frames● Mobile objects (carts, wires, cables, etc.)● Any other exterior and interior details

LEVEL 2

Level 2 is a step up from Level 1, offering a more detailed representation of the object or scene. At this level, the focus is on improving the overall look and feel of the model, while still maintaining a balance between efficiency and realism. The model may have a more complex geometry, with additional details.
Objects that are depicted on Level 2:Precise general shapes of major static objects and their location:● Wall● Window● Door● Interfloor overlap● Bearing construction elements (columns, beams etc.)● Frame● Simplified barriers● Ladders with steps● Simplified cable trays● Equipment (conveyors, engines, electric boxes etc.)● Lamps (generalized appearance)● Pipe connections● Simplified valves and flanges
More precise landscape with approximate heights (for exterior):● Roads and sidewalks● Green area● Stairs, ramps
Objects that are not depicted on Level 2:● Small equipment (pipes with small diameter (less than 50mm)), valves, indicators● Mobile objects (carts, wires, cables etc.)● Any other tiny exterior and interior details

LEVEL 3

Level 3 is the medium level of detail, where the focus is on creating a believablerepresentation of the object or scene. At this level, the model may have a highlydetailed geometry, with intricate details. Level 3 is used for renovation, reconstructionand visualization purposes.
Objects that are depicted on Level 3:Precise general shapes of major static objects and their location:● Wall● Window● Door● Interfloor overlap● Bearing construction elements (columns, beams, etc.)● Frame● Detailed barriers● Ladders with steps● Simplified cable trays● Equipment (conveyors, engines, electric boxes, etc.)● Lamps (generalized appearance)● Pipe connections● Generalized valves and flanges
More precise landscape with precise heights (for exterior):● Roads and sidewalks● Green area● Stairs, ramps
Objects that are not depicted on Level 3:● Small equipment (pipes with small diameter less than 50mm), valves, indicators● Mobile objects (carts, wires, cables, etc.)● Any other tiny exterior and interior details
