THE OPEN-AIR MUSEUM OF LITHUANIA, located on the picturesque shores of Kaunas Lagoon in Rumšiškės, was established in 1966 and is one of the largest open-air museums in Europe covering an area of 195 ha. The museum aims to showcase the ethnographic regions of Lithuania, including Dzūkija (Dainava), Aukštaitija (Highlands), Suvalkija (Sudovia), Žemaitija (Samogitia), and Lithuania Minor, as they appeared during the late 18th century and the first half of the 20th century. The museum's exhibitions feature a vast collection of over 25,000 exhibits, organized into individual collections and chronological exhibitions, including weapons, traditional clothing, photographs, documents, and other objects.
To view all levels, you need to enable all layers in Potree (check the box next to all layers in the "Objects" section)
The 3D tour tool, in combination with 3D scanners, provides a user-friendly and immersive experience, enabling remote exploration and navigation of spaces. The tool generates a precise depiction of the area, resulting in an authentic and interactive environment, making it suitable for real estate, tourism, and hospitality industries.
